Overview
Drop off and pick up:
-I need to meet in person anyone who may pick up or drop off your child such as Father, grandparents etc.
-dropping off your child on time is important as we maybe conducting outdoor activities where our child’s participation is important (group games, splash time outdoors etc.) I wouldn’t want them to miss out!
-picking up your child on time is just as important, if you are going to be late; please call.
Visiting and checking on your child during the day.
- you are welcome to call anytime to check on your child, if I am unable to answer, please leave a voicemail and I will call right back. Please be mindful that I may be busy with the children.
- You are also welcome to drop by and visit anytime during your child’s stay to observe.
Supplies Parents Responsible For:
-weather appropriate clothing
-fresh change of clothes
-diapers
-formula, Bottles are to be labeled with your child’s name.
-sun screen, bug spray
-blanket, soother, sippy cup.
Supplied Provided by Care Bears Daycare:
-milk, juice, snacks, lunch
-full bedding such as blanket, sheets, playpen etc. (washed weekly)
-car seats for traveling
-stroller for walks and outings.
-Toys, craft material etc.
Illness and absence:
- If your child has a fever, diarrhea, vomiting or any other contagious illness, he/she needs to stay home
- if your child visits a doctor and antibiotics are prescribed your child needs to have had at least 24 hours of antibiotics before coming back to the daycare.
- Medications will only be administered if prescribed by a doctor with a parent signing and detailing administration on the medical form. No Tylenol, Advil etc please.
- If your child is sick and does not attend the daycare of scheduled days, fees are still due.
- If any of my children are ill following the same criteria above, I will let you know. Basically same conditions apply both ways except if I require an absent day; the fees are waived for this day.
Pets:
For the safety and your children and mine, we have no furry pets in the house as children maybe allergic. However, we may still visit a Pet Store, Happy Ralph’s or the Zoo as long as no sever allergies known in any of the attending children.
Typical Day:
-Breakfast (depending on your child’s arrival time)

-The clean up game/songs/dancing/story time
-Lunch
-Nap
-Snack
-playtime/activities
Daily Activities – include but are not limited according to the child’s age and development/interest:
-Role/pretend play
-Listen, dance and sing songs
-Letters/numbers/colors recognition
-Learning new words
-Play dough/painting of different kinds/coloring/drawing/crafts.
-Blocks/cars/dolls/babies/balls/construction (Potato head and Elmo)
-Sports activities – indoors and outdoors – badminton/basketball/soccer/golf/etc.
-Outdoor play – sandbox/swing set/sports activities/walks/bike and car riding/park playground.
